West Farm Development

By: Joe Flaxbeard with Lamp Rynearson

West Farm is a 500 Acre mixed use development at 144th and Pacific Street.  Historically this land has been used in agriculture while the City of Omaha grew around it.  West Farm will include retail, restaurant, office, mixed use, multifamily and single family residential along with abundant parks, trails and green space.  In addition to the public improvement to the interior of the property, this project widened 144th Street from Dodge to Pine, and constructed a new bridge at 150th and Dodge to create a full movement interchange.

Joe Flaxbeard is a civil engineer and project manager working in the Design Group at Lamp Rynearson.  Joe is the project manager for the West Farm development's platting, grading and public improvements, working to deliver the civil infrastructure along with Noddle Companies, Applied Underwriters, HDR, HGM and the rest of the SID 583 team.

Joe has been at Lamp Rynearson for 11 years where he has served as an engineer and project manager on a variety of projects including residential, commercial, redevelopment and infrastructure projects.  He is involved with ASCE, ACEC, and volunteers on the boards for Omaha Street School and Skutt Catholic High School.
