The project is titled Corridor 84, which is located on 84th from Harrison Street on the north to Giles Road on the south. This is La Vista’s first major commercial redevelopment project, with the city being only 58-years old. The project includes a new mixed use development, transformation of golf course to a civic park, OPPD transmission line relocation, new intersections and streetscape design.
Joe Soucie is the Director of Public Works for the City of La Vista. He has been at the city for 31 years, twenty of those years as the Director. He has a BA in Social Science from Midland University and Masters in Administration from Central Michigan University.
